October is here and the weather outside is colder and more autimn-like. So why not pop in the ISC Lounge for a cup of hot tea and warm company? We’re open every weekday from 12 to 4 pm, except for Tuesdays, when we’re open for an extra 2 hours for our coffee evening. Of course, the week cannot pass without at least a few fun ISC events and our Saturday trip.

Week 3 at the ISC

Week 3 is already here, and we have plenty of events planned for you to participate and enjoy. From this week onwards the ISC is holding ‘Welcome home’ – a series of workshops for new international students, designed to ease the process of moving and studying in a new country.In addition, this week we are hosting our first cultural event, devoted to Bulgaria and co-hosting the InterUni Competition, as well as having a trip to Durham. And, of course, the ISC Lounge welcomes you every weekday from 12 to 4 pm for a nice chat with friendly people from around the world or just a warm cup of tea and coffee.

Hope that all of you have had a wonderful and memorable Fresher’s experience. Even though Fresher’s week has passed, the ISC carries on. Join us at the ISC Lounge for a nice chat, fun games or just a hot cup of tea and coffee! The ISC Lounge is open every work day, Monday to Friday, from 12-4pm, except for Tuesdays, when we’re open for 2 extra hours for our weekly coffee evening. We're also going to have two trips to choose from this week - we're going both to see Loch Katrine and for a hiking trip to Ben Lomond.

Fresher’s Week at the ISC!

September is here, and so is Fresher’s and the ISC! The ISC Lounge reopens on Sunday, 7^th of September 11am - 4 pm and will be open throughout Fresher’s Monday to Friday 12-4pm. Week 12. The last week of this term! This is also the last week the ISC is open this semester. Thank you for sticking with the ISC for this semester and we hope to see you around this week as well!
Don't forget, the ISC elections are soon as well! The ISC core committee elections are going to be on the 3rd or the 4th of April, details to be confirmed.
