With the new semester, the ISC with its events and trips is back. As always, the ISC Lounge is open every weekday from 12 to 4 pm, so come along for a friendly chat and a hot cup of tea or coffee! This Saturday we are having our traditional St. Andrews trip, while on Thursday we will have a volunteer sign-up for those interested in becoming more active at the ISC. New students can come along for our practical tour, to get acquainted with Edinburgh and the University.

Pre-refreshers Coffee Afternoon

Happy 2015! Hope that you all have had a good start to the New Year and are still keeping your New Year’s resolutions!

We have planned a special Coffee Afternoon for those of you who are new to Edinburgh and/or have just arrived early. Come along for a friendly chat and a hot cup of tea or coffee to make new friends and learn more about Edinburgh! The Coffee Afternoon will take place on the 8th of January from 3 to 5 pm at the ISC Lounge (22b Buccleuch Place).

The last week of the semester is here! We have prepared several events for you to relax and have fun before the exam session starts. On Monday, come along for our Whisky Tasting, to try real Scottish whisky. On Saturday, for our final semester trip, we are heading to Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city. Don’t forget to join us for our final Coffee Evening and Pub Night, or just pop into the ISC Lounge for a warm cup of tea or coffee Monday to Friday from 12 to 4pm.

The end of the semester is approaching and we have already reached week 10. This Monday we are having our last culture evening of the semester, devoted to the unique culture of Japan. On Saturday, we are taking you on a trip to Stirling, one of Scotland’s oldest towns and youngest cities. The ISC Lounge also welcomes you Monday to Friday from 12 to 4pm for a friendly atmosphere and a warm cup of tea or coffee.

Halloween has gone by and November is already here! Nevertheless, there is still a month of the semester left with a ton of trips to enjoy!
